Job Summary: The Back Office Manager oversees the administrative, operational, and support functions in a company. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, organizes resources, and collaborates with other departments to improve business performance. The back office typically includes functions like data management, financial record-keeping, and HR support.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Manage office supplies, maintain records, and ensure compliance with internal processes.
Data Management: Oversee accurate data entry, database management, and document control.
Financial Operations: Support the finance department with invoicing, expense reports, and bookkeeping tasks.
Coordination with Front Office: Collaborate with front office teams to ensure that they have the necessary support for client-facing operations.
Process Improvement: Implement procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce errors in back-office functions.
HR Support: Assist with employee onboarding, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records.
Reporting: Generate reports and provide data analysis for senior management.
Technology Management: Ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems and liaise with the IT department for troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in a back-office management role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and database management.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage.
Ability to manage a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
